COLOPHON

The colophon — the page at the end of a Japanese book recording how it came to be: by whom, and with what. This is this site’s colophon.

Typefaces

  • CJK — Noto Serif SC, one family for headings and body (Japanese pages set in Noto Serif JP)
  • Latin and numerals — EB Garamond
  • Signature — the handwritten “Ungetsu 厲” used for years, recolored with paper and ink via CSS mask

Stack

  • Built with Astro 5 — fully static output, no client scripts beyond the theme toggle
  • Hosted on Cloudflare Pages — DNS and mail forwarding on Cloudflare too
  • Styling — hand-written CSS, no framework

Two colors throughout — the white of paper, the black of ink; vermilion is reserved for a single seal.
